It’s been years since I had been to Droppsta gård, but April 2016 I am back to write about the reopened farm shop which sells organic products and lamb meat and leather produced by Droppsta farm in Odensala.
The boutique and its coffee shop is rustic and charming. The house was built in the 1800’s.
The one who runs the farm shop, Eric Davis from the USA, is a friendly guy who is planning to start an american barbecue tradition in the farm shop.
I bought lamb sausages worth 80 crowns and örtsalt (herbal salt) for 20 crowns – the kind of salt that makes wonders to cooking, according to Eric. Tonight we are tasting those sausages. My first lamb sausages ever.
