Trinidad gained its name when spaniards arriced on Trinity Sunday in 1775. It feels off the beaten path, even if we have heard that tourists do go there. But perhaps, not in July when we were there. The place looked abandoned, it was gray and cold and foggy, almost like a ghost beach area.

We checked out the lighthouse overlooking the bay and tried a popular restaurant by the sea.

I admit I like the beach’s stillness though.
