Bronze sculpture by Carl Milles outside the concert hall.

We went to Stockholm Concert Hall to listen to a concert, “Seven Wonders of the World” by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.

It is actually an orchestral concert for kids, so it quite short, about an hour, which is good enough for kids’ concentration span.

The music is world class, and we liked the use of the projector showing pictures of the modern wonders of the world while listening to to live music. Among the places Tuwa got inspired to see were Machu Picchu and Petra.

Stockholm Concert Hall, is where the awarding ceremonies for Nobel Prize and Polar Prize  are held annually.

Outside the building is the a bronze sculpture of Carl Milles. I am taking note of this sculpture because we have seen more of Carl Milles sculptures in Millesgården, Lidingö, an interesting sculpture park which used to be the scupltor’s home.
